Aahista Aahista is a 2014 Pakistani Urdu-language Family drama serial that has been launched by HUM TV. The serial was on aired on every Sunday at 8 PM from June 1st, 2014 – September 28th, 2014. The writer of drama serial is write the subject of social life in Pakistan.
The story of drama serial is about, Zawar and Sofia a married couple living in the USA. Zawar is from a well-to-do family in Pakistan while Sofia is an Anglo-Indian Christian. They married in secret as Zawar feared the disapproval of his family, and in particular of his mother, for marrying a Non-Muslim, Non-Pakistani woman.
When visiting Pakistan, Zawar's mother and sister force him to marry a Pakistani girl Haya, unaware that he already has a wife in America. Zawar feels trapped, but does not reveal the truth to his family fearing for his mother's health should she realize he married without her approval.
Haya is a simple girl and does as much as possible to take care of Bi-jaan Zawar's mother and to cater to Zawar's wishes. Soon after they get married, Haya learns that Zawar isn't interested in her and has decided to go back to USA. She pretends to be very happy with Zawar for Bijaan so that it doesn't have an adverse effect on Bijaan's failing health....
